American Taylor Fritz moved into the Wimbledon quarterfinals when his injured opponent, Jordan Thompson, retired while trailing 6-1, 3-0. Also advancing was Britain’s Cam Norrie, who beat qualifier Nicolas Jarry in a five-set match that lasted 4½ hours.
