Springer exits Blue Jays’ loss with fractured toe

Toronto’s George Springer, who entered batting just .189 with two home runs, left Saturday’s 7-4 loss to the Minnesota Twins because of a fractured big toe on his left foot, and Blue Jays manager John Schneider said the DH was sent to undergo a CT scan.
